We also partner with Optron (Pty) Limited, the Distributor of Trimble (USA) manufacturers of surveying and mobile devices. Optron has its headquarters in South Africa and regional office in Nairobi. Through that partnership we have supplied Surveying equipment to support users such as UNRA, SGR and Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, especially the USMID project. We also supplied and supported a number of users with latest Android mobile devices used for geospatial mapping.
In addition, we have a working relationship with other Geospatial companies such as Airbus Space and Defense for satellite imagery and DJI for Drone technology.

KACO is the Partner of Esri Inc., based in California, USA, for the last 10 years in promoting the use of Geographic Information Systems. Through that partnership, we developed the GIS market in Uganda by selling Esri’s commercial software, training users and proving technical support. We also organized and attended local and international annual conferences to share experiences and showcase new technologies. Uganda now has over 1,000 users (including the energy sectors such as UETCL, UEDCL, Umeme among others) and over 200 organizations using and benefiting from these geospatial technologies.
